My Gym Fun

Paige and Austin have been LOVING My Gym!! They cannot wait to go and I love that they are getting all sorts of exercise in some air conditioned comfort, have I mentioned that it is SUPER HOT here lately! Austin really loves having his own activity for once, and even though they are both going for now they go to different classes (they are broken down by age) on different days. Aside from the classes they also have a couple hours a week that are free play hours, you just bring the kids and it isn't a structured class, it is more like crazy hour on the playground! Aside from the structured class, every week they rearrange they gym so you always get a different group of activities and placement. The best way to describe the classes is a combination of the gym class we all had in grade school back in the day crossed with gymnastics, of course tailored to each age group. Anyways, the kids love it and it shows on their faces!

Austin hanging and swinging like a monkey
Austin getting ready to do the "cherry drop" with the help of Nick
Austins favorite is by far the ball pit, he could stand there and jump into it all day long if they would let him!
Paige climbing the rock wall
Austin shoots up to the top of this ladder so quick, it scares the living daylights out of me, he gets like 2 feet from the ceiling.
Paige hanging upside down on the parallel bars, she gets up there all by herself.
Austin and Paige walking the balance beam, this was made even more difficult by the fact that it is going at an incline this week.
Balance beaming again
Austin loved to do his jumping dismount
Just look at that concentration!
Paige doing her jog during the warm up
Paige is waiting for her turn to do the "military relay" that is how they make the kids wait at the front of the line so the teachers know you are ready to go.
Paige doing the wall climb during the relay
Paige doing the rope swing during the relay
Paige in mid arabesque roll....much too hard to explain in words, but trust me, she did it with great ease!

They obviously didn’t get my fear of heights! It looks like great fun. Extra hugs and kisses from Grammie!

Great Grandma and Grandpa Roach loved the balance beam photos, (as well as the others). Thanks again. We could use the warm weather, send some this way. The tomatoes in my garden will need until November at this rate to get mature.
